Think Energy is led by Codema, Dublin’s Energy Agency. Codema act as the energy agency to the four local authorities in Dublin – Dublin City Council, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, Fingal County Council and South Dublin County Council – and support each council in leading and influencing the low-carbon transition by improving their energy efficiency, incorporating renewable energy technologies and reducing their greenhouse gas emissions. This privacy policy explains how Codema (on behalf of Think Energy) collects, stores and processes personal data, for which purpose, and your data protection rights.

 

What personal data do we collect?

Personal data is only used for the purposes for which it was originally collected; we only collect what we need, and where possible data will be anonymised Depending on the purpose (as listed below) the personal data we collect may include: your name and surname, your gender (for diversity statistics), your email address, your phone number, your job position and organization, and your postal address.

How does Codema store your data?

Codema shall ensure that personal data is stored securely using modern software that is kept up-to-date Access to personal data shall be limited to personnel who need access When personal data is deleted this will be done safely such that the data is irrecoverable Appropriate back-up and disaster recovery solutions are in place Codema has a Data Processor Agreement in place with their website providers to ensure that appropriate data protection obligations are in place.

Codema would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following: The right to access – You have the right to request Codema for copies of your personal data. The right to rectification – You have the right to request that Codema correct any information you believe is inaccurate. The right to data portability – You have the right to request that Codema transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
