Plug-In Energy Monitor
This monitor tracks how much energy is used by electrical appliances in your home. It will help you see which ones are using the most energy so you can think about using them differently or less often. That way you can cut down on your energy and make savings on your bills.
This can be especially helpful when you are considering buying a new appliance, if you want to check one you’ve already got, or if you want to check how much electricity is being used by any devices that might be left on for long periods of time.
How to use the plug in energy monitor
The monitor fits into your electrical socket just like the normal three-pin plug you find on any appliance. You can then plug the appliance into the monitor. When you turn on the appliance, such as a kettle, you’ll see how much energy it’s using on the screen.
